A team designed to make the impossible possible

We wanted everyone to know, even though we have moved our operations to High Point, North Carolina, we’re still open for business and can provide you with the same services you’ve come to expect from Stratton, Moore & Painter, Inc. We’re still able to process accident scenes, perform “black box” downloads on vehicles, and we can interview law enforcement officers and witnesses. We are still available for case evaluations anywhere in the United States. Thank you all for your continued support and please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help in any way.

Stratton, Moore, & Painter, Inc. was established in 1980 as a firm dedicated to accident investigation and reconstruction.  We have provided technical expertise and consultation to major plaintiff and defendant firms, insurance companies, claims adjusters, large trucking companies, investigators and private individuals.  We continue to provide a combination of the best practical experience, technical background, expert testimony and court exhibits available using the latest equipment for detailing the accident site and for reconstruction simulation.

More than just a quick response team

Stratton, Moore, & Painter, Inc. is more than just an accident investigation and reconstruction agency – it's your one stop shop, and any good investigation comes with options to win your case.  When we built Stratton, Moore, & Painter, Inc., we handpicked these services to offer.

Event Data Recorder Imaging

example:  Event Data Recorder

  • Data can be lost, so a quick response to capture data before that happens, for example: EDR Imaging is just one of the ways to do this

  • EDR Imaging from cars and trucks can be accessed and downloaded either electronically or bench downloaded from box directly by our trained professionals

HVE Simulation

Human, vehicle, environment Simulation

  • HVE (Human, Vehicle, Environment) simulation is a 3-dimensional model, based on the laws of physics, studying the interaction of human response, vehicle reaction, and the effect of the environment on the accident. Studying their interaction using HVE- compatible reconstruction and simulation models provides accurate simulation and not just animation of the occurrence

  • Animations- Pictorial representation of how an accident occurs

  • Simulations- Pictorial representation of how an accident occurs obeying the laws of physics

  • Rec-Tec Software- Formulates calculations in a spreadsheet format

  • EDR (Event Data Recorder)- Records imaging from cars and trucks to electronically download or bench download information from the box directly

  • CDR (Collision Damage Retrieval)

  • ECM (Electronic Control Modules)
